Spring Surprises

With snow finally over we are now doing our "Spring Cleaning".   The outside painting is in progress; the building, steps, and porches are beginning to look renewed! Gardens have been spruced up, though we still need to plant our vegetable garden . . . tomorrow . . . maybe tomorrow!

As we make our own Spring to-do lists, Mother Nature has made hers, too.  Robins are nesting and we have had to place fake owls near some of the room doors to dissuaded them from building nests.  We forgot to put one near the front door of the inn and Mama Robin was quicker than us!  This greets us at the door now and may have to be relocated!
