We get questioned frequently about John and Betty, the former innkeepers and Kim's parents who retired in 2002. The short explanation is that they retired and went to prison. There is a bit more to the story.

The intrepid walkers head out each day on a route of 8-10 miles on the back roads of our area. Dinner is served every night that we have walkers and if you would like to join them for dinner while you are here you are more than welcome to do so. The walkers bring some fascinating stories from their travels and are fun to host!

With a lovely self-guided walk (averaging 10 miles a day), the guests end each day with a wonderful dinner at the hosting inn. The next morning they are served a wonderful hot breakfast before heading out for another beautiful walk on the back roads and in the woods of Vermont.
