COHO Inn & Motor Lodge Policies
Deposit
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. The remaining 50% balance will be charged automatically one week (7 calendar days) prior to your arrival. After this point, the reservation is non-refundable.
Occupancy
Registered Occupancy Policy: For the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of all guests, all overnight guests must be registered at the time of booking. Room rates and included breakfast are based on the number of registered guests listed on the reservation. Our rooms have maximum occupancy limits set for safety, insurance, and operational reasons. Undeclared or unregistered overnight guests (Including children) are NOT permitted. If additional overnight guests are discovered who were not included in the original reservation, an additional fee of $75 per person, per night will be charged to the reservation. Breakfast service is reserved exclusively for registered overnight guests. If you anticipate a change in occupancy, please contact us in advance. When possible, we are happy to discuss options prior to arrival. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. For stays of any length, a deposit of 50% of the total charges is due at the time of booking. We will send confirmation of your reservation upon receipt of your deposit. For groups of four (4) or more we charge a 20% gratuity fee. For our Non-refundable rate, the balance with be due within 24 hours of booking. For our standard rate, the balance will be due one week (seven calendar days) prior to your stay.
Cancellations
For any reservation cancellation (excluding bookings made on a non-refundable rate), we must receive one week's notice prior to your confirmed arrival in order to receive your deposit back less a $25 cancellation fee. If any cancellation is made within 7 days of your stay, regardless of the reason, your deposit will be non-refundable (though you are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place).
For reservation cancellations before the 7 day window, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a $25 cancellation fee. Any change-of-dates request (including shortening a reservation) must be made 7 days prior to your confirmed arrival and is subject to availability and minimum stay restrictions. Within one week of arrival arrival, deposits are non-refundable and no changes can be made to the reservation. After check-in, a shortened stay will remain charged in full per the original reservation.
Non-Smoking
In consideration of all guests, The Colonial House Inn & Motel is 100% smoke, vape, and flame-free. A $250 cleaning surcharge will be imposed on any room where guests have burned candles, smoked (including e-cigarettes), or vaped in their room or within 250 feet of the building. Please do not attempt to disable any smoke detectors as they are hard-wired and will alert us immediately.
Quiet Hours
In terms of noise, please be courteous of your fellow guests. Quiet hours are from 9 pm - 8 am. Excessive exterior and common area noise is not permitted. No gatherings / parties in the common areas.
Pets
Well behaved dogs under 70 lbs are welcome guests in select accommodations and for an extra fee. Please call the property directly to inquire about booking a pet-friendly room. Dogs are not allowed in any of our indoor common areas. All dogs must be kept on a leash when not in rooms. Please do not leave your dog unattending in your guest rooms or vehicles. Please clean up after your pet, if you need animal waste disposal bags please contact the concierge.
Damage
While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.
Age
Guests must be 21 years of age or older to check in.
Treatment of Others
Guests and patrons should treat all others, including, but not limited to other guests and COHO staff with respect. Profanity should not be directed at staff and should not be spoken so as to be heard by other guests. Guests and patrons may not abuse any of the COHO employees or other guests, verbally or otherwise. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the property or other disciplinary action determined by management. All service employees of COHO are under the supervision of the Hotel General Manager and no guest or patron shall reprimand or discipline any employee, nor shall a guest or patron request an employee or other guest to leave the property for any reason. Any employee not rendering courteous and prompt service should be reported to management immediately. Guests and patrons may not make any physical contact with any COHO employees. COHO Inn & Motor Lodge reserves the right to refuse service.
