HOMESICK at Stratton — Snowboard Culture, Community & Good Times in Southern Vermont

Every March, Stratton Mountain becomes one of the best places on the East Coast to be a snowboarder — and for us at COHO, the HOMESICK Snowboard and Culture Festival is one of our favorite weekends of the year.

HOMESICK celebrates snowboarding’s history, progression, and the community that makes this sport so special. Over three days — March 20–22, 2026 — riders of all ages and abilities come together for on-snow events, culture-rich experiences, and plenty of good times.

What makes this weekend even more meaningful for us is that Lane gets involved every year, teaming up with the event organizers and park crew to build a standout terrain feature for the event. It’s always a labor of love and a highlight of the season for him — and now you can experience it too.

What Goes Down at HOMESICK

HOMESICK is more than just a competition — it’s a full snowboard culture festival with something for everyone:

On-Snow Competitions

  • Planet Zebulon Rail Jam – A jam-style rail session under the lights at the Stratton Base Area, free to spectate and full of energy.

  • Power’s Retro Pipe – A classic half-pipe event that pays homage to snowboarding’s roots on Stratton’s Byrnes Side terrain.

  • OG Downhill – A head-to-head downhill race on Suntanner that brings old-school racing flavor to the weekend.

(You can compete in any or all of these if you want — but you absolutely don’t have to to enjoy the weekend.)

Snowboard Culture & Extras

  • The Dawning Exhibit & Vintage Board Room — A curated exploration of snowboarding history and evolution.

  • Demo Snowboards — Try the latest boards from top brands right at the base.

  • Live Music & Après Events — Parties and gatherings that often spill into the evenings with friends old and new.

Whether you’re riding, cheering from the sidelines, or just soaking up the culture and camaraderie, HOMESICK is a weekend that feels special — nostalgic, welcoming, and lively.

Why HOMESICK Matters

HOMESICK isn’t just another ski event — it’s a gathering of snowboarding hearts. It honors where the sport came from, celebrates where it’s going, and connects people who live for the slopes, the stories, and the shared stoke.

Whether you plan to compete, spectate, explore the history exhibits, or simply hang with friends and fellow riders, HOMESICK is a Vermont weekend worth making part of your winter tradition.

We can’t wait to see you here — on the mountain and at COHO.
